Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 6 Voting Date and Time: After the curtain fell on voting for the first five out of seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections held on April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, and May 20 respectively, the stage is meticulously arranged for the sixth segment of the 18th Lok Sabha elections, slated for May 25. This round will witness electoral contests across 58 Lok Sabha constituencies spanning 8 states and Union Territories. Prominent states and UTs including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Delhi, and Haryana will partake in Phase 6. The vote counting is scheduled for June 4.

Phase 6 Voting in Lok Sabha 2024: Date and Time: The sixth chapter of the 18th general Lok Sabha elections is scheduled for May 25. Voting operations will commence at 7 AM and conclude at 5 PM.

Lok Sabha Election Phase 5 Constituencies: This phase encompasses a total of 58 Lok Sabha constituencies dispersed across 8 states and union territories. The states and UTs engaged in the sixth phase are: Bihar (8), Haryana (10), Jammu and Kashmir (1), Jharkhand (4), NCT of Delhi (7), Odisha (6), Uttar Pradesh (14), and West Bengal (8). Notably, polling in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag-Rajouri constituency, which was deferred in Phase 3, will also occur during Phase 6 of the Lok Sabha elections.

A total of 889 contenders from 8 states and union territories will vie in this phase. Across these regions, 1978 nominations were filed for the 57 parliamentary constituencies. The last date for filing nominations for Phase 6 across all 07 States/UTs (excluding the adjourned poll in PC 3-Anantnag-Rajouri of Jammu & Kashmir) was May 6, 2024. After the scrutiny of all nominations, 900 were deemed valid.

Among the notable candidates in the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections are Bansuri Swaraj, Manoj Tiwari, Kanhaiya Kumar, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Deependra Singh Hooda.

Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 – A Recap: Voter turnout in the fifth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha elections across 49 constituencies eclipsed the 2019 figures, with provisional data at 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday indicating a turnout of 62.15%. In the fourth phase, voter turnout was 67.25% across 96 constituencies in 10 states and Union Territories. The third phase recorded 65.68% turnout across 94 constituencies in 10 states and two Union Territories. The first phase saw 66.14% turnout across 102 constituencies in 21 states and Union Territories. The second phase had 66.71% turnout across 89 constituencies in 12 states and one Union Territory.
