Honasa Consumer Ltd has heralded the procurement of CosmoGenesis Labs’ assets. This acquisition signifies a monumental stride in research-fueled innovation, underscoring Honasa’s prowess in tailoring products for Indian consumers. As the parent company of Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Dr. Sheths, and an expanding consortium of personal care brands, Honasa continues to push boundaries.

Elaborating on the acquisition, Ghazal Alagh, CIO and Co-founder of Honasa Consumer Limited, remarked, “This strategic amalgamation with CosmoGenesis will exponentially amplify our research capabilities, enabling us to explore emerging trends with enhanced efficiency and curate superlative products. In the fourth quarter of FY 24, Honasa recorded a 21.5% year-on-year growth in revenue from operations. The company also saw a 780 basis points improvement in EBITDA margins year-on-year, culminating in a quarterly Profit After Tax (PAT) of ₹30 crore.

CosmoGenesis, a skincare brand inaugurated by Rohini Manoj in 2011, boasts over 5000 formulations in cosmetics and personal care for the Indian market. “Our collaboration with Honasa Consumer has yielded remarkable innovations.
